HQCalc was born from a simple frustration: most financial and utility calculators online are either buried under advertisements, riddled with paywalls, or so poorly designed that you have to guess whether the answer is correct. We decided to build something better.
Our mission is to make professional-grade calculation tools accessible to every Indian — from a salaried professional checking their in-hand salary, to a first-time investor calculating SIP returns, to a student solving algebra problems. Every tool on HQCalc is free, requires no sign-up, stores no data, and works instantly on any device.
India is undergoing a financial literacy revolution. With over 100 million new investors entering the market in the last four years and millions more making critical loan and tax decisions every day, access to accurate, fast, and private calculation tools is not a convenience — it is a necessity. HQCalc is our contribution to that revolution.

Shivam Sagar is the founder of HQCalc and Redeemer Digital, an indie digital studio based in Gurugram, India. With a background in full-stack web development and a deep interest in financial tools, Shivam built HQCalc as a platform that prioritizes accuracy, speed, and user privacy above everything else.
The philosophy behind HQCalc — "Logic without Jargon" — reflects Shivam's belief that complex financial and mathematical concepts should be accessible to everyone, regardless of technical background. Every tool is designed to give you the answer you need in under two seconds, without requiring an account or surrendering your personal data.
